Rt.Hon. Brian Binley MP
A front bench Member of Parliament, Mr Binley MP  is a  supporter of the iKBBI’s objectives and is a source of information and advice relating to government business. Located in his constituency of Northampton, Mr Binley is a Conservative MP, and we’re pleased, and honoured to have his support.
 

 

THE BOARD

Damian Walters
Founder of the iKBBI concept in 2005, Damian has vast retail installations experience, to include work with some of the UK’s largest KBB businesses (past and present). With hands on installations experience, Damian understands the needs of the modern installation professional and is responsible for the operational directorship of the institute.
 
Drew Carter
Drew is a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom installation expert, with experience ranging from retailing, design, to all aspects of installations both on an employed and consultancy basis. Drew’s experience includes former Head of Installations at MFI, departing in November 2006 to work on the KBB business concept. He has also run installations operations for Hygena @ Currys, Ethan Allen, as well as leading an installation programme for Wickes.
 

THE SUPPORT TEAM

Paula Kavanagh
An experienced administrative manager, Paula joined the team in 2011 and is responsible for membership administration.


 

John Williams
John is responsible for independent retail membership subscriptions and has a vast knowledge of the installation market.
 
Marc Littlejohn
Marc works with our independent retailers on a part-time basis, supporting the application process and ongoing management of their membership to the iKBBI.

 

VOLUNTARY CONSULTATION PANEL

Gordon Smith
Gordon Smith has over 20 years of commercial management experience.  He has achieved success across the furniture sector and has considerable experience within both trade and retail. He has held senior positions with some of UK’s best companies in these sectors including Howdens Joinery, the UK’s largest and fastest growing kitchen trade business.
 

Layne Ives
A member of the iKBBI since 2007, Layne is a self employed KBB installer who has built a successful business in the South East. He linked into a retail member via the iKBBI in 2009, subsequently capitalising on membership. Layne’s experience as an independent installer qualifies him as a member of the iKBBI Consultation Panel – a voluntary position where he represents the thoughts and needs of members across the country.
 

Tim Wallace
Tim is currently editor of business title KBB Installer and has been deputy editor of sister title kbbreview since March 2004. He began his media career as a programme assistant with the BBC and has since held a number of senior editorial roles in both newspapers and magazines. In 1995, he began a four-year spell as senior sub-editor with the Press Association before moving into local newspapers with Newsquest Media Group. More recently he has also held the role of writer and senior sub editor with Sport Business Group.
 

Gary Evans
An installation professional, qualified carpenter, joiner and electrician, Gary operates a successful business from his Berkshire hometown. Working with major retailers in the past, Gary has developed his private business work stream and understands the needs of the modern consumer. Previously Gary held positions in blue chip organisations in marketing, although the past 3 years he has been running his design, supply and installation business.
 

Tim Foley
Respected industry columnist, Tim has a plethora of experience within the kitchen, bedroom & bathroom sector. He runs a successful internet business and web forum and regularly contributes to the industry’s leading publication the kbbreview.
