iKBBI are committed to support community projects in the UK to help make a difference to people who most deserve it.

This year we are pleased to announce the Sponsorship of The Community Education Football Initiative who are a community driven football programme based in South East London.

Founder of CEFI, Bryan Hall established the initiative in 1982 and has taken his coaching skills and passion for the game, direct into the housing estates themselves.

The Initiative (and Bryan’s) ethos is centred around providing opportunities for local youngsters, many of whom come from challenging backgrounds, housed within some of London’s most deprived housing projects.

The Initiative’s patron is the Right Honourable Harriet Harman QC MP who is Leader of the House of Commons (and Lord Privy Seal); Minister for Women; Deputy Leader of The Labour Party and of course MP for Peckham, providing the link with CEFI.

Mary Phillip, former England Women’s National Football Captain is part of the coaching team at CEFI, and is joined by team mate Rachael Yankey MBE, who is also committed in providing coaching to youngsters, through her own academy.

Rachael and Mary are pictured here with Damian Walters, Drew Carter and Bryan Hall at this years' CEFI open day, proudly unveiling the new home and away kits which are part of the iKBBI sponsorship pledge.

The Initiative is funded through local authority grants, charitable donations from local businesses and of course sponsorship like ours. Not to mention the voluntary work from Bryan, the coaches and indeed funding from Bryan himself (this man is a local hero)!

The iKBBI board of directors have initially made the sponsorship donation personally, however it is hoped that as The Institute develops the board and the members decide to continue supporting great community causes.

If you are interested in helping the Community Education Football Initiative like us, either via a charitable donation or through further sponsorship, please visit their website www.cefi.org.uk or email Bryan Hall direct at cefiuk@aol.com.
